Marching Band Competitions are full-day events. Students meet the bus in the morning at CHS and are returned to CHS late evening. Plan to attend the competitions, if you can, they are a lot of fun. It's amazing to watch our talented musicians/athletes, our students appreciate the support from the stands, and you get to hang out with fun parents!

The Food Crew, coordinated by the all-volunteer food committee, provides lunch and dinner and sometimes a breakfast "snack" on competition days. The food and other supplies are donated by parents and purchased by the Cedarcrest Band Boosters. Watch remind for food and volunteer requests from the Food Crew.

It can be cold and rainy at these competitions (held in October & November). Band and Color Guard members have matching coats which were purchased by Cedarcrest Band Boosters (with the help of supporters). Chemical hand warmers (HotHands or similar) can be useful at events. Audience members may find that a stadium seat, and/or a seat pad increase the comfort of sitting on bleachers all day. In particular, Everett Memorial Stadium (Puget Sound Festival of Bands), can be extremely cold. Audience members may also find that a blanket increases comfort, especially in the evening.
